HL D&I Halla Corporation continuously strives to comply with labor-related laws and customer requirements in each country or region, and strives to comply with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the UN's principles for business and human rights implementation. To this end, HL D&I Halla Corporation has established the HL D&I Halla Human Rights Management Principles to prevent human rights violations arising from business relationships.

Human Rights Impact Assessment
The evaluation was made through a checklist of 159 questions prepared by referring to the National Human Rights Commission checklist and UNGC guidelines. We established a human rights management system, and as a result of the human rights impact assessment in 2021, the average achievement rate of human rights management in 10 areas including non-discrimination in employment was analyzed to be about 77%. |
Evaluation of the effectiveness of the grievance handling system
Based on the annual CSR Europe’s Management of Complaints Assessment Results report, HL D&I Halla Corporation evaluated a checklist consisting of eight major principles. Through the publication of a casebook that collects best practices, internal benchmarking of HL Group and exchanges on human rights issues are being promoted. |

HL D&I Halla Co., Ltd. conducts online training once a year (4 hours) for all employees. Human rights education such as ‘Prevention of Harassment in the Workplace’ and ‘Gender Equality Culture through Sexual Harassment Benefit’ is provided in the training course. |
