Ethical Conduct Guidelines
“HL D&I Halla’s Integrity” not only fulfills business obligations, such as creating profits for sustainability and observing laws and systems of society, but is also socially responsible by making every effort to increase shareholder’s rights, pursuing co-existence and co-prosperity with partners through fair trade, and providing employees rewards and happiness.
Integrity is doing the right thing even when no one is watching. With pride as HL people, all employees work uprightly and fairly, and conduct themselves with sincerity, loyalty and honesty. HL people also follow the rational rules and regulations, and engage in only transparent business practices.

HL D&I Halla is contributing to enriching the world by inducing bold changes in all areas where mankind lives, moves, and imagines under the vision of “innovating the familiar and challenging the unknown”. HL D&I Halla believes that the foundation of sustainable management is to prosper with all stakeholders and fulfill social responsibilities through ethical management.
HL D&I Halla continuously strives to comply with labor-related laws and customer requirements in each country or region, and strives to comply with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the UN's principles for business and human rights implementation. To this end, HL D&I Halla has established the HL Human Rights Management Principles to prevent human rights violations arising from business relationships.
The evaluation was made through a checklist of 159 questions prepared by referring to the National Human Rights Commission checklist and UNGC guidelines.
We established a human rights management system, and as a result of the human rights impact assessment in 2021, the average achievement rate of human rights management in 10 areas including non-discrimination in employment was analyzed to be about 77%.
Based on the annual CSR Europe’s Management of Complaints Assessment Results report, HL D&I Halla evaluated a checklist consisting of eight major principles.
Through the publication of a casebook that collects best practices, internal benchmarking of HL Group and exchanges on human rights issues are being promoted.
HL D&I Halla conducts online training once a year (4 hours) for all employees. Human rights education such as ‘Prevention of Harassment in the Workplace’ and ‘Gender Equality Culture through Sexual Harassment Benefit’ is provided in the training course.
